Sensor Technology Ltd is a privately owned limited company, which was established in 1976 and has over 30 years experience developing high technology rotary torque systems. It is Investors in People accredited and ISO 9001:2000 registered. The company is currently commercialising the global patented Surface Acoustic Wave technology called TorqSense by designing and manufacturing non-contact, rotary torque measuring sensors for non-automotive and customer applications.

RWT310/320 series
TorqSense Digital RWT310/320 series transducers with integral electronics are available in three different body sizes for torque ranges up to 10,000Nm. The series offers a cost effective, non-contact digital rotary torque measurement solution, using TorqSense Surface Acoustic Wave technology, suitable for torque monitoring, testing or controlling drive mechanisms. TorqSense RWT310/320 series transducers and their technology are particularly appropriate for OEM applications.

 The digital TorqSense RWT330 and RWT340 Series use the latest and same non-contact TorqSense technology as used in the RWT310/320 Series in three different body sizes for torque ranges from 500mNm to 10,000Nm, with above 10,000Nm on request. The only difference for this Series is that it may be more appropriate for some applications to have the sensor unit separate from the electronics unit due to space and/or environmental limitations.

TorqSense Digital RWT350 & 360 series pulley / sprocket transducers are suitable for torque monitoring and process control on any belt / chain driven machinery. They offer separate electronics and sensor either with fixed outputs (RWT350 Series) or user selectable outputs (RWT360 Series). USB and RS232 outputs are also available for direct PC interface..

 The E200 ORT Series Transducer use photovoltaic detectors to measure the light intensity. As a non-contact transducer, the absence of brush gear allows for high-speed operation of up to 30,000RPM on the smaller sizes. The E200 ORT requires an E201 or E202 Transducer Interface.

 TorqView is an easy to use Advanced Torque Monitoring software for use with all our products. It has been written using NI LabVIEW and as it is a self running executable file, users do not require LabVIEW to run TorqView.

The Transducer Display ETD is a readout suitable for all RWT series transducers. Please note that it is not necessary to use a readout with the RWT series transducers but should users require a readout it will display variations of torque, peak torque, speed and power.
